Hall of Fame: Ian Ross

Ian Ross is the latest tractor puller to be inducted into the BTPA's Hall of Fame. Ian has been involved in the sport since 1988, starting out in the modified class then evolving into the super stock division.
His 20-year involvement in the sport started, quite unusually, by simply lending some tractor weights to a friend who was competing. Ian was curious to know what it was ll about, and that day at the track sparked his passion for diesel-fuelled horsepower.
"It's been one hell of a ride, and power is certainly addictive," said the farmer from Aberdeenshire, who was also a past chairman of the Scottish Tractor Pullers Club.
