Final push to the first round

5th May 2023

With just one week to go, pullers are busy applying the finishing touches to their tractors, in readiness for next weekend's first round of the British Championships at Scorton, Lancashire.

Mark Pacey from the Northants-based On the Limit light modified team says that while there's still penty to do, he is confident the team will be at the event. "We've a new drop-box now fitted between the motors, which came from the Le Coiffeur team; our new Mitas rear tyres are on their rims, and the trailer is getting some attention too," says Mark. "We're looking forward to this new event to kickstart the 2023 season."

Its a similar story from Warwickshire-based David Jones, who got his Just Smoky tractor running only last weekend. "I've rebuilt the motor after last year's final round at Eccleston, fitted a larger pump section and new fuel delivery pipework for this season," he says. "We're almost ready to rumble."
