Awards presented at the AGM

The recent BTPA annual general meeting (AGM) saw a number of pullers and members presented with awards.
First up, was the Steve Beattie memorial trophy, and that was awarded to BTPA secretary Charlie Moston. In her first year as BTPA secretary - having taken over the role from Mel Todd – Charlie has kept the office wheels well-oiled and constantly turning, and her efforts were duly recognised at the 2025 AGM.
Hooker of the Year was presented to Benjy Cradock, while Best Turned Out Tractor was awarded to Gator 2 Lynx Edition owned by Jim and Suzanne Whitecross. The award for Best Turned Out Team went to the Carnegie family which competes with Extreme Force and Extreme Green tractors.
AGM attendees voted for two awards – those of Event of the Year and Puller of the Year. The former was collected by Craig Whittingham on behalf of the UK Truck and Tractor Pull held at Scorton, while Puller of the Year saw votes tie between two competing members - Benjy Cradock and David Todd. Both were happy to share the award.
Ed Bateman scooped several awards at the AGM, including the Ford Performance trophy and the Steve Mason ‘Skipper’ memorial shield, in addition to collecting his championship trophy for winning the limited pro stock class with Major Madness.
In addition, a number of pullers attended the event to collect their championship trophies, including Wyn Thomas (Evil Dragon, pro stock), Josh Whittingham (Snoopy 3, modified and heavy modified), David Todd (Redemption, super farm) and Duncan Clitheroe (Thirsty Turtle, super sport truck).
