Description
Case IH Magnum 7130 from the Buckinghamshire-based Clarke Pulling Team. Owner Peter Clarke first put Red Alert on track in 1994 as a four-turbo diesel tractor. In 1998 the team switched to methanol for more power and reliability. Uses MSD ignition, a two-valve billet overhead cam cylinder head, triple turbos and water injection. Still a 'cast-iron' tractor and not a component model, Red Alert uses a four-speed transmission with a lightened rear centre housing, pressure-fed needle roller diff and hollow half shafts.
