Midnight Mistress was bought by Matt Harpley in March 2022 from former Pro Stock puller John Orwin. This new-build tractor had never quite made it onto the track, so Matt and team mates Simon Harpley, KD Stewart, Chris Harpley and Jack Mellodew stripped it and tweaked the specification to suit their own requirements. It uses a Ford 4000 rear axle, New Holland 6.6-litre engine, pus a Holset HX60 turbo and a Bosch fuel injection pump. Clothed in Ford 7840 panel work, the tractor finished a respectable 5th in its first season on-track.
