Formerly owned by John Summers and known as Tanked Right Up, Kitt is now in the hands of Chris Knight from Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. Bought in 2018, Chris and his nephew Grant Hay stripped the tractor to update and rename his puller to Kitt, a play on his surname and keeping a Knight Rider theme. In 2019, he changed the rear tyres and turbo, finding more power from the Soviet T-55 battle tank-derived V12 power unit. A change in fuel system, revised wheelie bars, new forward/reverse gearbox, hydraulic steering and a striking new paint job also followed.
