Blue Donkey is a newly-built Limited Pro Stock tractor that’s taken two years to create. Owned by Lancs-based John Pye, the blue donkey is based on a 4wd Ford 8700 that spent most of its working life in a quarry. Now with a larger fuel pump, re-worked cylinder head and a much bigger, single turbo, it’s producing much more than its original 110hp. A needle-roller differential and Firestone puller tyres help to get it all on the track.
